Are press-on nails waterproof?

While press-on nails are water-resistant, they're not completely waterproof. That means you'll be able to wash your hands and come into contact occasionally with water. However, prolonged exposure to water will break down and weaken the nail glue.

How do you apply waterproof press-on nails to make them last?

We provide all our nail customers with a how-to guide for easy application. When applying your party press-on nails, you want to avoid air pockets in between the acrylic and your natural nail. Otherwise, it's likely to come away a lot quicker.

Again, you want to avoid prolonged exposure to water, especially submerging them for long periods of time.

How long do waterproof press-on nails last?

With press-on nails, if applied properly, you'll get up to two weeks of use from them. Depending of course, on how much water you expose them to.

Push the nail cuticle back with the cuticle stick
File the nail and dry it with the alcohol pad
Apply the nail to your finger

Can waterproof press-on nails be reused?

Can I wear press-on nails while swimming?

It's not recommended to go swimming with press-on nails. Even though these pastel press-on nails are water-resistant and durable, the glue won't hold well if submerged under water for too long. You may want to avoid the swimming pool when wearing press-on nails in general.

Will press-on nails come off in the water?

We always recommend to avoid putting your nails in any water for a few hours. The glue is strong but with regular exposure to water for long periods of time, the glue will start to wear down. If you're wanting to get more out of your nails, then keep them away from water.
